Blowing of mulch is a cost effective method to supply and spread mulch to steep or tight locations difficult to reach with machinery.

Our truck can hold up to 50m3 of mulch and blow mulch up to 60m through a hose.

Blowing in mulch is a great option to consider rather than using matting, which is sometimes the only other alternative. The benefits of natural mulch in terms of weed suppression, water retention and nutrients enhancement is far superior with natural mulch than engineered matting solutions.

Weed mats provide a barrier for weed seeds to germinate, reducing the need to use chemical or manual weed control methods. They also create a barrier between the sun and soil reducing evaporation and retaining soil moisture. The use of weed mats is also an integral temporary erosion control method on large projects to protect uncompleted areas from heave rain events preventing washouts and slips from occurring.
