Mowing Grass and Turf Maintenance Weed Management / Pest Control
Vegetation control is ongoing work: keeping grass, weeds and scrub at the level a site needs, year after year. We do it across highway corridors, roadsides, parks and reserves, subdivisions, commercial premises and retirement villages, at any scale from a single site to a national contract. It is unglamorous and it is relentless, and the contractors who do it well are the ones with the resource to turn up when they said they would.
Mowing and clearance
Mowing, weed eating, spraying, and mechanical clearance with mulching or removal off site. Highway and urban roadsides, rural corridors, parks and reserves, subdivisions and commercial premises.

We hold the plant range to match the ground rather than forcing one machine across everything — including remote control mowers and drone application for faces too steep or hazardous to put a person or a conventional machine on. On Puhoi to Warkworth that is how around 30 hectares of steep batters are maintained.
Grass and Turf Maintenance
Turf maintenance is site specific. Terrain, use and the standard expected all change the programme, and a rugby field, a motorway verge and a retirement village lawn are three different jobs.

Work we currently hold:

  • The grass and turf maintenance service level contract across a large portion of Ryman Healthcare sites nationwide
  • Mowing and weed control on CSM2, the Christchurch Southern Motorway
  • Bombay Rugby Club, to sports field standards
  • Puhoi to Warkworth, including the steep batter work above
Weed Management / Pest Control
From knapsacks through to light vehicle and tractor-mounted spray units, we handle chemical weed management across the full range of site conditions. All our spray operators hold GrowSafe certification.

Mulching and weed matting are the non-chemical alternative, and on sensitive sites or near watercourses they are often the better answer.

Every project carries weed and pest pressure, before planting, during the works and through the maintenance period afterwards. We treat that as part of delivery rather than as something that starts once the construction crew leaves, and we have dedicated maintenance teams rather than sending construction crews back out.
